    Job Description

    Higginsville Habilitation Center (HHC) is recruiting for a Support Care Professional, to be a part of a highly effective team that supports over 200 employees, that makes a difference in the lives of adults with developmental disabilities. HHC is a state operated program within the Department of Mental Health and supports 40+ individuals receiving 24/7 services. This position is domiciled in Higginsville.

    The Support Care Professional must be detailed orientated, work well with others, have good time management skills, possess leadership skills, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Excel and other computer programs and willing to travel.

    Member of an interdisciplinary treatment team in developing and reviewing individualized habilitation plans and behavioral objectives, implement individual/group program activities and complete assessment, evaluation and other individual reports. Supervise, coach and provide leadership, schedule monthly ENGAGEs with direct reports.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed for relevant experience)
