AIRPORT OPERATIONS DIVISION John Wayne Airport (JWA) Operations Division is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of JWA activities, ensuring JWA operates safely, securely, effectively and within the scope of strict federal regulations. The BHS Navigation’s OC Outreach and Engagement (OC O&E) serves individuals experiencing unsheltered homelessness in Orange County. The program's focus is on linking individuals to needed services including behavioral health, physical health care, emergency shelter, housing, and other supportive services. This is accomplished through developing and building trusting relationships with the unhoused community and collaborating with other service providers. Public Health Services Public Health Services (PHS) is a multi-dimensional department that includes Communicable Disease Control, Public Health Lab, Environmental Health, Community & Nursing Services, Clinical Services, Health Promotion & Community Planning. The Local Oral Health Program (LOHP) is a unit under Health Promotion that is funded by the State of California’s Office of Oral Health with funds from Prop. 56 Tobacco Tax. The mission of LOHP is focused on improving the oral health of community members by focusing on system changes that reduce barriers to care, increase access, and ultimately improve oral health outcomes. LOHP hopes to achieve these goals by implementing the strategies laid out in the Orange County Oral Health Strategic Plan which was locally developed and based on guidance from the State and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) such as school- based/school-linked services, increasing utilization of dental services, and integration of medical and dental services. THE OPPORTUNITY There are two (2) immediate vacancies within HCA: one (1) with BHS and one (1) with PHS. The HCA Program Supervisor II (PS II) within BHS, O&E is responsible for supervising staff providing services in the community.
