    Attention sports lovers! Join our stellar team as a Middle School Athletic Coach!

    We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated part-time Middle School Athletic Coaches (Recreation Leader I) to join our team at one of three middle schools: Fletcher, Greene, or JLS Middle School. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with middle school students, fostering their athletic development, and promoting teamwork and sportsmanship. This position requires effective communication skills, organizational abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service to both students and parents.

    Duties :
    • Plan weekly practice schedules.
    • Keeping parents in the loop about carpool and schedules.
    • Provide top-notch customer service to all customers.
    • Ensure our facilities are safe and well-maintained.
    • Advertise upcoming events.
    • Monitor your own practices and games.
    • Be punctual and available 1-2 hours Monday - Thursday from 2pm to 7:30pm
    • Successfully complete coaches training before getting in the game.
    • Plus, tackling any other assigned duties.

    Desired Qualifications :
    • A high school diploma or G.E.D certificate.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
    • Natural leadership abilities to inspire our young athletes.
    • At least one year of coaching middle school sports or two years of playing a sport yourself!

    Schedule:
    • Part-time, with flexible hours based on practice and game schedules.
    • Evening availability required during the sports season(s).

      This is a Limited Hourly position, non-benefited, with a maximum of 416 hours per fiscal year (July - June). The number of hours per week and schedule will be determined based on your assignment.
