    This is a professional licensed clinical social worker providing casework, group work, and/or client-centered advocacy services to patients or clients in a program for persons with mental illness and/ or developmental or physical disabilities.

    Job duties may include but not limited to;

    Work includes responsibility for initial and periodic social assessments of the clients’ or patient’s social, environmental and economic background for use in diagnosis, prognosis, rehabilitation/habilitation or treatment planning; and involves frequent contact with other health and social service groups to promote cooperative assistance in meeting the social and physical needs of the patients/clients and their families. This position will include providing individual and group therapy, treatment planning, discharge planning, and case management services to clients in a program for persons with serious and persistent mental illness, intellectual disabilities, and/or substance use disorders. The individual will work within an evidence-based treatment program with an interdisciplinary treatment team. Supervision may be provided to Clinical Case Work Practitioners completing supervised clinical social work experience as a prerequisite to Clinical Social Work licensure. Supervision is received from a designated superior who reviews work through case review, participation in the treatment planning and/or observation of results; however, the employee is expected to work with a high degree of independent skill and competence within established policies.

    Experience and Education Required:

    Possession of a current license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Missouri. Will accept LMSW’s or MSW student who needs practicum placement provided they stay with NMPRC to complete their licensure. Will accept BSW’s with an opportunity for tuition reimbursement for obtaining their MSWs.
