Job Description

Job Location: This position will be located at the closest statewide office. A hybrid work scheduled will be considered upon meeting requirements.

The Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Section is seeking an eager and qualified candidate ready to innovate, research, and support an ever-growing program designed to aid seniors and individuals with disabilities. This role will assist with key initiatives aiming to better support the participants we serve.

  • Provide assistance in the development of long-term organizational strategy of Home and Community Based Services.
  • Conduct and summarize research in response to executive, legislative, or administrative inquiries. Summarization may occur in various forms depending upon the audience's need.
  • Assist with project planning, development, and implementation of key HCBS initiatives. A key focus of current initiatives is related to the expansion and development of the direct care workforce.
  • Assist with the development of a learning management platform that will support provider reassesors and direct care worker training.
  • Assist with contract development and monitoring.
  • Assist programmatic teams with a variety of tasks related to policy, quality assurance, and training through the development of reports, presentations/training modules, memorandums, guidance, and printed materials.


  • Bachelor’s Degree (Substitutions allowed.)
  • Knowledge of HCBS policy, regulation, and statutes required
  • Project leadership experience preferred
  • Excellent project and time management skills
  • Contract management/monitoring experience preferred
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
