Position DescriptionManages a unit within a department. Plans, organizes, and develops goals and procedures for the unit. Represents the unit to administrators, outside agencies, and others on relevant matters. Supervises subordinate staff.
Major/Essential FunctionsWorks in coordination with the Residency Program Director to coordinate resident activities including but not limited to:
- Plan and organize resident applicant interviews.
- Plan and organize resident orientation and onboarding.
- Generate and track resident evaluations.
- Coordinate resident daily, rotation, and clinic schedules.
- Collect, maintain, and track resident education and program data.
- Prepare for internal and accreditation program reviews.
- Scheduling resident didactics, set up in-training exams, OSCE's, and other training or resident events as needed.
- Supervise 2 resident coordinators.
Required QualificationsBachelor's degree plus three years of supervisory experience; OR a combination of education and/or supervisory experience to equal seven years.
