    Annual Salary: $108,451 to $155,084 DOQ plus excellent benefits.

    The Department of Economic Development seeks an experienced economic development professional to be the next Deputy Director of Economic Development. This is a newly created position and an amazing opportunity to participate locally and regionally in supporting businesses and entrepreneurs across all industries to help shape the future of the community. The ideal candidate is a dynamic and accomplished economic development professional with a proven track record in business attraction and strategic planning. This individual possesses exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships between local government and innovative businesses to drive positive economic growth for the County and its residents. The Deputy Director will have five to seven direct reports.

    Requires a bachelor’s degree in business or public administration, and four years of experience in economic development, community development or workforce development for the public sector. Experience must include three years of full-scope supervisory experience.
