Henderson was incorporated in 1953 and remained a relatively small industrial town until the early 1980s when the first master-planned community, Green Valley, was introduced. Today, more than 314,000 residents call Henderson home and the city has been consistently ranked one of the fastest growing communities in the nation (Forbes) with 500-800 new residents arriving each month.
