General Description and Classification Standards Employee performs highly skilled maintenance, installation, repair and troubleshooting work involved with electrical systems. Electrical work may be performed in a number of areas including runways, taxiways, and security gates. Work involves technical application of electrical principles. This is a fully seasoned skilled level capable of independently carrying out most assignments typical of the discipline. This level would be attainable by multiple incumbents in a work group (not necessarily by all) but would not be an "automatic" promotional level.
Supervision Received Works under very general supervision. May work independently or with other skilled or semi-skilled workers with responsibility for completion of assigned tasks.
Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience- Seven years electrical experience and Class II Unrestricted Electrical Contractor License and/or IBEW Journey’s Card
- Valid Driver’s License
Preferred Education & ExperienceAssociate’s degree with a course of study in Electrical Construction and Maintenance or similar area or 10 years of related experience in a commercial, industrial, or facilities maintenance.
Licensures and Certifications- Class II Unrestricted Electrical Contractor License or IBEW Journeyman's Card
