    This position will be located at the Lewis and Clark State Office building in Jefferson City, Missouri. Work hours are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.

    • Manage multiple Drinking Water enforcement cases.
    • Draft letters, penalty calculations, compliance agreements, consent judgements, case summaries, and other enforcement related documents.
    • Track Bilateral Compliance Agreements.
    • Perform monthly/quarterly reports to distribute to the regional offices.
    • Issue notices of violations and administrative orders to public water systems.


    This position gives you the opportunity to obtain and maintain drinking water operator certification. If you do not currently possess certification, you will be provided training opportunities to obtain certification if you choose.

    Equivalent to those typically gained by:

    • Bachelor’s degree and 0-4 years of relevant experience. (Additional education or experience may substitute for the required education or experience)
    • Experience with interpreting and implementing State regulations.
    • Experience drafting accurate and thorough enforcement documents and negotiating and managing compliance schedules and activities.
    • Well organized and proficient with time management.
