Job Location: This position will be located at 930 Wildwood, Jefferson City MO 65109. This is not a remote position and will be working in the Jefferson City office.

Would you like the opportunity to lead the Healthcare Associated Infection and Antimicrobial Resistance (HAI/AR) team and shape Missouri's presence in this evolving program? HAI/AR program responds to healthcare facilities outbreaks, promotes surveillance of HAI infections, contains emerging threats from AR organisms while working with healthcare facilities in prevention efforts. We are looking for a driven individual to move the HAI/AR program to the next level.- Provide leadership and direction to the HAI/AR team members.
- Supervise HAI/AR program staff.
- Manage a large and complex portfolio of CDC funded grants.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external partners to facilitate HAI/AR detection, prevention, and response goals.
- Maintain fluid communications with CDC's HAI/AR program.
- Attend in person and virtual meetings, trainings, and other HAI/AR opportunities that may arise.
Minimum Qualifications:- Master's degree in public health or similar health related field and 3 or more years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of public health and epidemiology reasearch and analytical methods.
- Prior grant management experience.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
