    A Business Process Analyst II job is available with The City of Fort Worth Human Resources Department - Information Systems (HRIS) Division. The HRIS Division serves a diverse workforce of over 7000 employees and provides technical/functional support on a variety of HR programs which include but are not limited to administrative oversight of all hiring, re-hiring, promotions, demotions, job data changes, employee personal data changes, monitoring compliance aspects.

    The HRIS Division is in search of a Business Process Analyst II. The incumbent will perform complex work in a variety of professional, technical and analytical human resources functions, including information systems/records, time & labor and absence management, term processing, benefits administration, occupational health and safety, etc.; and performs a variety of professional and analytical tasks in support of assigned area of responsibility in the Human Resources Department.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in human resources management, public administration, business administration or related field and four (4) years of business experience and business analysis experience.
    • Minimum of four (3) years of experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2, especially Core-HR, Benefits

    Preferred Skills:
    • Administration, Time & Labor and Absence Management Modules
    • Minimum of five (3) years of experience with using/implementing PeopleSoft Query tool
    • Minimum of five (4) years of experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, writing functional and technical design specifications
    • Knowledge of PeopleSoft ePerformance and eCompensation modules
    • Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
    • Knowledge of Database SQL tool (Microsoft SQL Server)
    • Experience in working with IT/ERP teams in troubleshooting, designing, implementing, testing various enhancements to PeopleSoft System and other applications
    • Knowledge of Project Management aspects

    The Business Process Analyst II - ERP and HRIS job responsibilities include:
    • Conduct business analysis, needs assessments and fit/gap analysis.
    • Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates. Work with business process owners and various stakeholders to elicit, document, analyze, validate, and communicate requirements using established methods and tools for new and/or existing technology initiatives.
    • Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, consolidate low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
    • Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and to deliver business planner artifacts as needed. Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders, management staff and vendor staff on project issues and status.
    • Serve as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and solution providers. Interact with others using strong, interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills
    • Coordinate system testing, user acceptance testing, managing incidents and defects.
    • Recommend and develop metrics in support of Quality Assurance testing initiatives.
    • Effectively manage all aspects of client interaction to ensure business requirements are met while maintaining scopecontrol and SDLC requirements
    • Research, analyze and evaluate new information technology methods and techniques
    • Interpret and apply Federal, State and local policies, laws and regulations
    • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work; able to develop positive relationships with all levels of the organization and interact professionally with a diverse group
    • Coach and mentor less experienced business planners
    • Assist Sr. Business Process Analyst personnel in completing various projects
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, using industry standard project management tools
    • Perform other related duties as required
    • Adhere to assigned work schedule as outlined in the Department and City attendance policies and procedures; ensure all behaviors comply with the City’s Personnel Rules and Regulations

    Medical Program

    The City offers two plan options through Meritain Health, an Aetna company.

    The Health Center Plan – Offers employees and their family’s

Also, services are available at any one of the five satellite locations that serves employees across the city.

    Vacation

    Eligible for 3 weeks of vacation: After successful completion of probationary period (usually
    6 months), employees may take time off for rest, relaxation, vacation, illness, religious observances, and personal business.

    Holidays

    Available on the first day of employment, the city provides employees with paid holidays, including two personal holidays.

    Wellness Program

    The city’s Healthy Challenge Wellness Program rewards all full-time, benefit-eligible employees on the city’s health insurance. The Healthy Challenge Program utilizes a points system. Participants may earn points throughout the year (Jan. 1-Dec. 15) for completing specific program activities and participants can redeem points at the end of the year for a cash reward. By participating, individuals can earn $150, $200 or $250 by accumulating program points.
