The inspection and oversight of dairy farms, bulk milk trucks, receiving, transfer stations, and processing plants ensure that the products sold to the public are wholesome, stable and of high quality.
We are looking for an Administrative Support Professional to join our team! This position will provide direct support for State Milk Board operations, including but not limited to clerical duties, printing services, mail processing, administrative and business support activities to ensure timely accurate and efficient flow of work in the office.
- Serve as the main contact for incoming calls, inquiries, and requests (answer calls during non-working hours)
- Prepare financial statements and audits
- Work with staff to maintain records, forms, office supplies
- Prepare and process all regulatory changes in Missouri Code of State Regulations
- Organize and assist with Missouri State Fair Dairy Contest
- Maintain producer records, labs, and regulatory letters
- Yearly license and permit renewals
- Daily mail processing
- Process deposits/EFT’s
- Receive and process monthly reports and payments
- Yearly renewals (ex: licenses, export certificates)
- Board meeting (organize, minutes, expense, etc.)
- Travel to meetings/trainings as required
- Assist with preparation and reporting of various grants
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications: - Four (4) years of relevant clerical experience. Preferred experience in one of the following areas: fiscal or budgetary controls, procurement, accounting or bookkeeping, or experience closely related to the above listed responsibilities. Training from a vocational or business school in office management, secretarial science, or a closely related field may be substituted for the required experience.
- Must have a valid Missouri Driver’s License
- Must have High School Diploma or proof of High School Equivalent/GED
Preferred Qualifications:Supervisory experience Accounting experience Excellent communication skills Office management and organizational skills Advanced Microsoft Office skills particularly in Excel
