    Training and Outreach Developer

    $3,475.37 - $4,657.32 Bi-weekly (DOE)

    $90,359.54 - $121,090.43 Annually (DOE)

    The Santa Clara County Housing Authority (SCCHA) is the county’s largest provider of affordable housing, helping make rental housing safe and affordable for approximately 20,000 low-income households.

    How You Will Make an Impact:

    The Training and Outreach Developer will provide professional level support to training and outreach programs and activities including program development, delivery, organizational, managerial, and operational analyses and studies. The candidate will develop training curriculum and material, conduct training, coordinate logistics for community outreach events, and analyze programmatic practices and procedures. The candidate will also make recommendations for organizational, operational, policy, and procedural improvements.

    As a member of our team, we are looking for a candidate that can work collaboratively to implement Yardi for staff, develop and conduct workshops for families, owners, and community on rent café, and develop creative solutions to enhance new training software. We are looking for a candidate that can readily engage in public speaking, have flexibility and problem solve.

    What the team is looking for:

    Any equivalent combination of education and experience likely to provide the required core competencies may be considered. A typical combination that is qualifying may include:
    • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in business or public administration or a closely related field; and
    • Three (3) years of increasingly responsible professional experience developing and implementing staff development and training programs, community organizing, planning, and facilitating community meetings or related experience.


    Licenses and Certifications:

    Possession of or the ability to obtain and retain a valid California Driver License and a driving record acceptable to the Agency.

    • Driven and Energetic -the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment and fully aware of the operating procedures and policies of the division to which assigned.
