    Licensed Clinical Social Worker

    Position open to Clinical Case Worker, Sr. Clinical Case Worker and LCSW

    Semi-Monthly Salaries range between $1,643.97 to $2,516.16


    St. Louis Forensic Treatment Center provides specialized care for clients diagnosed with mental illness. We are looking for a positive and energetic candidate who has an interest in helping individuals with mental illness maximize their potential.

    St. Louis Forensic Treatment Center provides specialized care for clients diagnosed with mental illness in a long-term, inpatient hospital setting with forensic involvement. St. Louis Forensic Treatment Center - North provides specialized care for clients who are receiving competency restoration and evaluation services in a more acute, inpatient hospital setting by court order. Both settings are secured at a minimum security level. The social worker will be also be required to participate in routine interdisciplinary meetings, including client review, treatment planning, individual sessions and discharge planning.

    St. Louis Forensic Treatment Center (SLFTC) utilizes a number of evidenced-based practices across five separate programs including but not exclusively: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Illness Management and Recovery, token economy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and others.

    • Conduct Social Service Assessments (Initial and/or Annual)

    • Complete admission paperwork

    • Provide individual and/or group treatment and complete corresponding documentation

    • Complete Individual Treatment/Rehabilitation Plans (ITRP) and Treatment Reviews

    • Write monthly progress/summary notes for clients

    • Offer case management to assigned clients

    • Conduct suicide risk and other risk assessments as needed

    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on a regular basis

    • Participate in discharge and legal processes (e.g. guardianship) as necessary

    • Other duties as assigned



    Eligibility:

    • Must have prior experience providing care for clients diagnosed with mental illness, substance use

    disorders, personality disorders, and/or intellectual developmental disorders.

    • Experience treating or working with individuals diagnosed with Antisocial or Narcissistic Personality

    Disorder preferred, but not required.

    • Knowledge of the DSM, evidence-based practices, and best social work practices encouraged.

    • Degree or License in Social Work (MSW, LMSW, or LCSW) preferred, but will consider candidates who

    meet the minimum qualifications

    • Willing to consider individuals who hold a BSW or related degree and are nearing completion of a

    MSW degree. This individual would likely qualify as a Clinical Caseworker until completion of MSW

    degree.
