    Salary Range: $58,542.45 - $73,164.67 annually

    General Description and Classification Standards

    The Management Analyst, Sr. position will research eligible grant opportunities on behalf of the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department.

    The individual will also analyze and perform post-award financial and accounting processes for grants, reporting and all activities involved. This includes budget monitoring, communicating with the grants division regarding the accounting transactions and ensuring compliance for various types of grants. The selected candidate will enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal agency guidance and the supplemental guidelines.

    Establishing a working collaborative relationship with the internal and external departments and agencies will be required to be successful in this job. This position will also assist with the procurement process to ensure requisitions and purchase orders are processed within a timely manner with regards to all funded grants.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Education and Experience

    Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field. 4 years of accounting/finance experience

    Preferred Education and Experience
    • Ability to analyze financial data
    • 3+ years of working with federal grants
    • Advanced skill in the use of computers in accounting spreadsheet applications.
    • Advanced level skills in Excel.

    Licensures and Certifications

    None required.
