    The MO HealthNet Division has an opening for an Auditor Supervisor within the Clinic program in the Institutional Reimbursement Unit (IRU) located in Cole County.

    Semi-monthly salary: $3,074.51

    Job Location: This position is located at the Howerton State Office Building; 615 Howerton Court, Jefferson City, MO.

This is a supervisor position that will oversee the Medicaid reimbursement to Federally-Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and Independent Rural Health Clinics (IRHCs) for healthcare services they provide to Medicaid participants.

    • Manage the overall planning, administration, and daily duties of the clinic program which includes auditing cost reports, determining final cost settlements, and processing supplemental interim payments.
    • Develop and implement reimbursement policies which consists of researching initiatives, issues, and policies; formulating recommendations; and, amending state regulations and the Missouri Medicaid State Plan.
    • Supervise, train, and lead the clinic team in achieving and maintaining accurate, efficient, and timely operations.
    • Review programs to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, policies, plans, and procedures.
    • Serve as the subject matter expert for the clinic program and assist with litigation.
    • Prepare information and assist with developing budget items for the clinic program.
    • Research and respond to inquiries from providers and their representatives, MHD staff, and other interested parties.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree and 4-6 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Training, certification, and/or education in continuous process improvement programs such as Lean Six Sigma as well as completion of Missouri Way, Leadership Academy, and similar programs.
    • A Bachelor's degree with 15 earned credit hours in one or a combination of the following: Accounting, Finance, Economics, Public or Business Administration, or a closely related field.
    • Four or more years of professional experience in accounting, auditing, purchasing, budgeting, fiscal management, or in general management with some fiscal responsibility.
    • Ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations, policies, and procedures to perform duties.
    • Good analytical skills with attention to detail.
    • Be well organized and keep track of duties and projects to bring to a successful closure.
    • Be a self-starter, work independently, and contribute to the team to achieve goals.
    • Possess strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to maintain effective working relationships with providers, State agency co-workers, and other parties requiring information or assistance.
