About The Role: The primary function of the Lessons Learned Program Manager is to drive the continuous improvement of the Division's operations by systematically capturing and sharing knowledge gained from various projects. The successful candidate will lead initiatives aimed at improving project outcomes and operational efficiencies. Key initiatives include:
- Developing and facilitating lessons learned workshops and training sessions to promote a culture of learning within the organization.
- Collaborating with project teams to identify and document lessons learned, ensuring that these insights are integrated into future projects.
- Analyzing data to identify trends and recommend actionable improvements.

What You Will Be Doing: - Coach and motivate staff to be confident and independent to develop innovative solutions.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions, workshops, and training programs to disseminate lessons learned throughout the organization.
- Develop and implement business process improvements, provide guidance, and delegate action items to other staff identified through continuous improvement initiatives or as assigned.
- Develop program improvement recommendations and distribute, monitor, and report on status of action items for each program.
- Coordinate review/comment process for the Lessons Learned program and develop communications, implementation, and training plans for various WTD user groups.
- Develop performance metrics and manage a SharePoint database.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the lessons learned program, making continuous improvements as necessary.
- Lead/facilitate lessons learned and continuous improvement workshops.
- Gather and analyze data.
- Write reports summarizing analysis, trends, or research.
- Stay informed about the industry best practices, regulations, and emerging technologies related to wastewater treatment to ensure the relevance and effectiveness of the Lessons Learned Program.

Required Licenses: - A Valid Washington State Driver's License or the ability to arrange transportation to visit project sites on short notice.

- Facilitating large, information-gathering meetings with a diverse group of participants.
- Developing, managing, and maintaining SharePoint sites using MS Office 365 products.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerApps.
- Ability to document and enforce database policies, procedures, and standards.
- Communications skills centered around the development and implementation of continuous improvement activities.
- Continuous improvement certification such as Lean/Six Sigma.
Supplemental Information
Working Conditions:- Work Location: 201 S Jackson St, Seattle, WA 98104
- Work Schedule: This full-time position is exempt, works a 40-hour work week. This position is covered under the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and is not overtime eligible. The work schedule will be determined based on business needs but will primarily be remote. The selected candidate will be required to go into various King County locations as business needs dictate.
- Union Representation: This position is represented by the Technical Employee's Association (TEA).
