Job Summary Under the general supervision of the Clinical Services Director, this position is an essential role in coordinating a wide range of administrative activities and duties for the department. This position serves as a primary point of contact for Campus Health & Wellbeing and will be responsible for assisting with departmental training, interpretation of policies and procedures, data entry and tracking, coordination, and facilitation of Health Services scheduling, provides reports and tracking for Health Services, and general office duties.
This position will also provide excellent customer service to students, parents and supporters, staff, campus officials, visiting guests, and the general public and serve as a primary point of contact for Campus Health & Wellbeing. Specifically, this position utilizes the department’s electronic health records system for client scheduling, serves as a primary point of contact for the Health Services department, evaluates and improves office procedures, assists in inventory management of physical assets for Campus Health & Wellbeing, coordinates with the department and campus to procure supplies and equipment needs, identifies improvements for work flow, and provides a variety of administrative support for the directors and professional staff as appropriate for their assigned department.
This position is also responsible for general administrative support within Campus Health & Wellbeing, which requires a high degree of confidentiality.
Department Summary The purpose of Campus Health & Wellbeing is to help students achieve and maintain academic success and lifelong health and wellbeing by providing timely and appropriate primary and acute health care, disease and injury prevention education, professional mental health, outreach, educational services and campus consultations.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Ability to use tact, diplomacy, and compassion to effectively handle a broad range of high level and sensitive interpersonal situations with diverse personalities, and to respond appropriately to conflicts and problems. Ability to independently handle multiple work priorities and projects. Thorough knowledge of office methods, procedures, and practices. Comprehensive and detailed knowledge of the university infrastructure, policies, and procedures. Demonstrated customer service experience requiring a very high level of diplomacy and professionalism to effectively handle a broad range of high-level and sensitive interpersonal situations and to respond appropriately to conflicts and problems.
Education and Experience - High school diploma or its equivalent. Type 45 wpm. Four years of general office support experience. (Training at a vocational school or full-time college education may be substituted for two years of the required experience on the basis of one year of college education for 6 months of experience.)
Salary and Benefits Anticipated Hiring Range: $46,376 - $56,624 Per Year
Classification Range: $46,368 - $72,864 Per Yer
