Job Location: This position will be located at the Harry S Truman Building, 301 W High St., Jefferson City, MO 65101.

Our internship with the Division of Facilities, Maintenance, Design and Construction’s (FMDC) Security Unit offers an opportunity to receive meaningful work experience in the security and building operations fields. You will perform entry-level tasks while taking part in skills development activities and projects. The internship schedule is flexible at 20-40 hours per week.
What you’ll do: - Serve as a liaison between OA-FMDC and customers to address state-owned building concerns
- Review project plans and assist in the maintenance and installation of multiple systems including Security, Fire, and CCTV systems
- Perform security inspections and generate reports and documentation for security-related incidents
- Back up and assist Badge Office team members with daily badge processing and other related tasks
- Support Security Manager with guard contracts and oversight of the guard contract
- Contribute to the coordination of safety and security programs to promote a safe and secure working environment for state team members and customers
- Assist in implementation of agency-wide security protocols and compliance of policies and procedures
All you need for success:Minimum Qualifications - Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program or in a technical or vocational college
