This position is with the Office of Administration Division of Facilities Management, Design, and Construction (OA-FMDC) supporting the Design and Construction Team. What you’ll do: - Manage multiple state-owned projects throughout the planning, design, and construction phases.
- Prioritize excellent customer service for a wide network of internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to internal teams, state agencies, state officials, contractors, designers, and consultants.
- Achieve successful project completion by working closely with internal teams, state agency representatives, and contractors to manage the scope, schedule, and budgets of projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives and stakeholder expectations.
- Facilitate all aspects of design development by coordinating with stakeholders, such as internal teams, state agencies, consulting firms, and construction contractors.
- Develop accurate, comprehensive, and transparent construction bid documents through collaboration with state agencies, internal teams, and consultants.
All you need for success:Minimum Qualifications - Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license from Missouri or from an adjacent state if you reside outside of Missouri.
- Ability to communicate, collaborate and lead with integrity in a manner that inspires trust and builds positive rapport with a diverse group of stakeholders and the public.
- Knowledge of the principles and concepts of engineering, architecture, construction, and/or project management.
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
- Bachelor of Science in engineering, architecture, construction, or related field. (Substitutions may apply.)
Preferred Qualifications - Experience in planning, design, and construction.
- Experience in engineering or architectural design and construction.
- Experience in project management software such as e-Builder is a plus.
- OSHA 10 and/or 30 certification.

*This position is physically demanding.
