Clerk-Recorder Assistant I: This is a growth position. Initially under close supervision, you learn tasks related to a variety of documents we process. People normally advance to the higher level after gaining experience and achieving proficiency in this role.
Clerk-Recorder Assistant II: This is a fully qualified position. Under general supervision, you are responsible for performing a full range of assigned duties requiring knowledge of recorder law, as well as the processing and filing of official documents.

Education and Experience Required Level I: Equivalent to completion of twelfth grade
AND
One year of clerical experience at a level equivalent to the position of Office Assistant II with the County of Nevada
OR
Associate of Arts/Sciences degree from an accredited college or university
Level II (in addition to the above): One year of experience as a Clerk-Recorder Assistant I or one year of experience with the Fair Political Practices Commission
OR
Associate of Arts/Science degree from an accredited college or university
PLUS
One year of general clerical experience.
