    Job Summary

    The DIPC Imaging Coordinator position will serve as an administrative liaison to DIPC clients, in conjunction with the DIPC Team and is responsible for coordinating daily production tasks and maintaining processes designed to meet the document management needs of DIPC clients, in accordance with DIPC Service Level Agreements.

    Department Summary

    The Document Image Process Center (DIPC) provides document management services to Cal Poly’s Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) division, as well as many entities across campus. Supported departments include: Admissions and Recruitment, Office of the Registrar, Financial Aid Office, University Scheduling, University Advising, Institutional Research, Graduate Education, School of Education, Academic Personnel, and the Provost’s Office. DIPC serves as the main entry point for imaged documents governed by the supported departments listed above and processes approximately 250,000 documents per year.

    Key Qualifications
    • Demonstrated customer service experience requiring a very high level of diplomacy and professionalism.
    • Ability to initiate, establish, and foster communication and teamwork by maintaining a professional, cooperative, respectful, productive work atmosphere in and outside of DIPC, and with a diverse population from various cultural backgrounds.
    • Ability to use tact and diplomacy to effectively handle a broad range of sensitive interpersonal situations with diverse personalities, and to respond appropriately to conflicts and problems.
    • Ability to provide training, lead work direction, and schedule priorities for student assistant employees.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills with demonstrated ability to set priorities and coordinate multiple tasks with fluctuating and time-sensitive deadlines; while remaining flexible in dealing with changes in priorities, policies, procedures, and organizational structure.

    Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or its equivalent. Type 45 wpm. Five years of general office support or technical experience. (Training at a vocational school or full-time college education may be substituted for two years of the required experience on the basis of one year of college education for 6 months of experience).

    Salary and Benefits

    Anticipated Hiring Range: $50,962 - $66,534 Per Year

    Classification Range: $48,696 - $79,836 Per Year

    Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Anticipated Hiring Range referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Classification Range may be broader than what the University anticipates paying for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
