The Social Worker/Clinical Caseworker will be part of an interdisciplinary team working with individuals who have been court ordered to the Department of Mental Health for inpatient psychiatric treatment, with the goal of restoring the individual’s competency to proceed in their legal case. The Social Worker/Clinical Caseworker’s primary focus will be providing substance use treatment by completing assessments, engaging in treatment planning, facilitating individual and group treatment services, and assisting with discharge planning.
Minimum Qualifications
• No disciplinary action in the previous 12 months .- Possession of a current license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Missouri.
Preferred Qualifications
• An LMSW or LCSW is preferred, but all MSWs are encouraged to apply.
• Additionally, BSWs with 2 years of experience are encouraged to apply. A BSW with plans to pursue their MSW is preferred. Individuals with Bachelor’s degrees in related fields, such as Psychology, Sociology, or Criminal Justice, will be considered if they plan to pursue their MSW.
