The JobArrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is now hiring for an
Administrative Nurse Manager who will be responsible for managing all staff assigned to non-bedside care nursing functions in the
Nursing Office. Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following: - Manages and directs the work of others; assigns, reviews and evaluates work of assigned nursing and support staff; prepares and/or signs work performance evaluations; handles disciplinary and hiring and firing actions; prepares schedules and oversees control of staff scheduling and payroll time and attendance processing; approves time off.
- Develops monthly schedules; ensures adequate daily staffing to meet fluctuating census needs; makes adjustments as needed to maintain budget.
- Develops and prepares unit budget; assesses and recommends budget requirements for assigned unit; monitors human and material resource utilization, creates reports, manages and reconciles budget and explains budget variances; controls overtime.
- Oversees the maintenance of employee health medical records.
- Ensures requirements with regulatory and accreditation requirements; develops policies, procedures and standards of care practice; develops survey responses, action plans and survey readiness processes and systems.
- Represents hospital administration on issues related to hospital management and operations; serves as a liaison between assigned area, other sections of the medical center, law enforcement and outside agencies.
- Leads or participates in a variety of committees and task forces.
- Provides vacation and temporary relief as required.

Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is a state-of-the-art, public/nonprofit,
456-bed, university affiliated teaching hospital licensed by the State of California Department of Public Health and accredited by The Joint Commission. The hospital houses a regional burn center serving four counties (San Bernardino, Riverside, Mono and Inyo), a comprehensive stroke center, level I trauma center and a freestanding in-patient behavioral health center. Additionally, ARMC operates five community-based, primary care clinics and over 40 specialty care outpatient services. ARMC is the primary teaching hospital for the adjacently located California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM), the Inland Empire's newest medical school.

Pre-Employment Process: Incumbents must pass a background investigation, which includes fingerprinting, work history and education verification, as well as a job-related physical exam and drug screening.
Availability : Twenty-four (24) hour responsibility, on-call and call-back may be required.
Certifications : Must maintain necessary certifications and complete on-going educational units/certifications required for assigned areas of responsibility.

Minimum RequirementsCandidates must possess ALL of the following:License: Must possess and maintain Registered Nurse licensure with the State of California Board of Registered Nursing.
Experience: Three (3) years of experience as a licensed Registered Nurse in an acute care hospital
AND one (1) year of experience as a full-scope supervisor over professional nursing staff. Experience may be concurrent.
Education: A Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution.
Certification: Must possess and maintain the following unit specific certifications:
- Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support(BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
Desired QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have at least five (5) years of experience as a licensed Registered Nurse with two (2) or more years of experience supervising professional staff in an acute care hospital setting.
