    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Under the guidance of the Supervisor, the Class performs the following duties:

    ? Assist with managing the processing of purchase orders and invoices, working in

    close collaboration with Drill Tower Staff, LAFD Purchasing Section, and external

    vendors. Systematically organize and electronically file related documentation

    using office scanners and software applications, including Microsoft Excel and

    Google Sheets.

    ? Provide comprehensive clerical assistance to the Recruit Services Section,

    including the composition and editing of routine correspondence, reports, and

    other documents. Utilize Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF, Google Drive, and

    Google Calendar to manage and review correspondence, oversee inventory, and

    facilitate the processing of documents through the Assignment Tracking and

    Reporting System (ATRS).

    ? Assist in gathering data on recruit demographics to support the development of

    narratives for reporting purposes.

    ? Support the Recruit Training Officer by coordinating requests for State Fire

    Training courses and ensuring the follow-up with state agencies and sworn

    members to process certifications.

    ? Provide general administrative support and contributes to the overall efficiency of

    the section; performs additional tasks as assigned.

    Angeles Fire & Police Pensions and the Los Angeles City Employees’ Retirement System).
