    The Enterprise Applications Analyst is essential to City operations and is a valuable member of the IT team. This position plans, designs, implements, and supports complex Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems including Workday, EnerGov Enterprise (permitting), and OnBase (enterprise content management). This position will also support the City’s other enterprise systems including Assetworks fleet asset management, Lucity asset management system, and enQuesta utility billing system in collaboration with other IT staff.

    A New Opportunity and what you’ll do...

    This position is responsible for leading the work of other Systems Analyst(s) and other information technology systems staff. You will take ownership and manage the City's suite of software ERP applications that support the City’s financial management, human resource, payroll, timekeeping, labor distribution, and benefits administration operations. In addition, you will coordinate with City departments to ascertain system problems and/or define requirements related to municipal business systems. This position provides lead technical expertise and acts as a technology liaison to other City departments for municipal business systems.     What We're Looking For:

    The Enterprise Applications Analyst must be a big-picture technology professional who possesses a clear understanding of how the components of Enterprise systems work for an organization. This position must provide timely information to stakeholders so that accurate decisions can be reached. The ability to think critically about technical problems is essential for this position. Going above and beyond to constantly review, diagnose, and correct issues that arise to ensure all system operations are maintained. These Enterprise Applications Analyst must be able to communicate complex technical information clearly in conversational terms with a non-technical audience in both oral and written formats.

    Experience and Qualifications for Success!

    A combination of training, education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, mathematics, or a related field, and five years of progressive enterprise-level experience in programming and systems analysis, supervising technical resources, inclusive of developers and/or systems analysts; including two years of supervisory or project management experience.

    Previous experience in a public agency is preferred.

    LICENSE/CERTIFICATES

    License: Depending on assignment, possession of a valid California Class C driver's license may be required.
