This is a temporary, full-time, benefit-eligible position based upon federal ARPA funding. Position funding will end no later than December 31, 2026. This position is with the Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD) supporting the Department of Social Services (DSS).

This position will report to the Enterprise Architect Supervisor. Successful candidates will:
- Be involved with all aspects of the System Development Life Cycle(Planning, Analysis, Design & Development, Implementation).
- Learn and develop new skills through various training opportunities and be self-motivated to learn new skills.
- Become familiar with ITSD business processes that meet the needs of our business customers.
- Mentor and document new technologies.
- Must be Self-Motivated and able to work independently on assignments.
As an associate, be prepared to build on the languages and skills you have.
- Knowledge of computer logic and its applications.
- Knowledge of core programming languages and ability to adapt and learn new ones.
- Knowledge of hardware, networks, and Operating Systems.
- Ability to learn and apply new concepts.
- Ability to provide logical and innovative ideas and think critically to resolve issues.
- Ability to communicate with staff, management, and agency personnel.
- Ability to multitask on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in and a desire to learn:
- C#, Java, HTML, CSS, COBOL, JCL, PowerShell, and SQL.
- Experience with Visual Studio, VSCode, and other development tools.
- Experience or ability to learn ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, Veracode security scanning tools.
- Experience or ability to explore and learn new tech in Artificial Intelligence (AI).
- Experience with various Relational Database Management Systems (DB2, SQL Server).
