    Position Description
    Performs supervisory and coordinative work in the operation of a specific program or departmental project. Responsibilities involve the coordination and supervision of the various functions and aspects of a specific program, as well as the monitoring of program staff and operational procedures. Work is performed under general supervision, with evaluation based on results obtained. May supervise program staff, volunteers and student assistants.

    Major/Essential Functions
    • Electives
      • Assemble and follow process flowchart, discuss and implement changes and innovations with EdTech.
      • Add and organize elective documents on HSC(Health Sciences Center) Box folders and send updated/new course information to Ed(Education Technology)Tech for the SOM(School of Medicine) website.
      • Assemble rosters with R#s(Employee ID numbers) and class in a master spreadsheet to communicate with faculty and student leaders to track attendance and completion requirements.
      • Register/withdraw memos for enrollment, contact the registrar for grade and registration troubleshooting, communicate with EdTech for correct course numbers, CRNs and Terms for tracking student completion.
      • Make room reservations, contact clinical speakers, and coordinate all other aspects needed.
    • Simulations - Assist with running and supervising SimLife sessions for core blocks, P3/DOCS, OSCEs, and occasionally electives.
    • Exams - Assist with proctoring unit, make up, remediation, and NBME exams in person as needed; run NBME proctoring program through website.
    • Grades - Enter elective and miscellaneous grades in Banner, process grade change forms for electives, IPE, BMS, remediation, grade audits, and other miscellaneous needs.


    Required Qualifications
    High school graduation plus five (5) years progressively responsible related experience; additional related education may be exchanged for required experience on a year-for-year basis.
