Job Summary Performs professional, technical, administrative, and supervisory work. Manages a team responsible for delivering strategic and operational business consulting, project management, and process improvement services for the city. This position coordinates and oversees the resources, projects, and daily tasks for the IT client services and acts as a key liaison between IT, management, and client departments. Operates effectively both independently and in a team environment to resolve problems promptly and efficiently. Partners with business leaders to understand and support strategic goals, ensuring IT investments and services deliver maximum business value. Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal stakeholders, aligning IT solutions, systems, and support models with the City of Orlando’s operational and strategic priorities. Serves as a trusted advisor and strategic partner between IT and business units. Work is performed under the general direction of the Deputy Chief Information Officer, and performance is reviewed through meetings and outcomes achieved.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
a nd four (4) years of progressive IT experience delivering technology solutions in IT management, project management, or business relationship management, including two (2) years in a management/supervisory capacity; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Project Management Professional (PMP) or Prince2 certification required. Florida Driver’s License required. Must pass police background investigation.
