Job Summary Performs professional, technical, administrative, and supervisory work managing cross-functional activities related to the design, development, and implementation of organizational software. Responsible for providing leadership to the organization’s Database Analytics, Geographic Information Systems, Systems Integration, and public safety functions according to best practices while ensuring high customer service quality and availability. This individual will apply proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of best practices to guide their teams on issues related to the design, development, and deployment of mission-critical information and software systems. Work is performed under the general direction of the Deputy Chief Information Officer, and performance is reviewed through meetings and outcomes achieved.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and four (4) years of programming, GIS or database management, including two (2) years in a management/supervisory capacity; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Florida Driver’s License required. Must pass police background investigation.
