The Nevada Gaming Control Board (Board) is seeking a diverse pool of qualified candidates for the
position of Senior Agent, Information Technology Auditor (Senior IT Auditor) with the Technology
Division. This is an unclassified, full-time position located in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Board governs Nevada's gaming industry through strict regulation of all person, locations,
practices, associations, and related activities. The Board protects the integrity and stability of the
industry through its investigative and licensing practices, the enforcement of laws and regulations, and
holding gaming licensees to high standards. Through these practices, the Board is able to ensure the
proper collection of taxes and fees that are an essential source of revenue for the State of Nevada.
Position Description
The Technology Division Senior IT Auditor is under the administrative direction of an Audit Supervisor
and is responsible for evaluating games, gaming devices, gaming associated equipment, cashless
wagering systems, interactive gaming systems, race book and sports pool systems, including the
related Information Technology infrastructure and controls, and modifications thereto for regulatory
compliance; analyzing technology as it relates to the gaming industry for suitability; performing revenue
and accountability analysis of gambling games, gaming devices, and gaming associated equipment;
and performing related work as assigned.
Travel
In-state travel may be required outside of normal business hours.
Recruitment
This is an open, competitive recruitment for all qualified applicants.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in accounting or business
administration and 5 years of experience in a related field.
Preference is given to applicants who possess a master's degree in accounting; who are licensed as a
CPA in Nevada; who have graduated from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree
in accounting or business administration and have completed the 150-hour requirement to qualify for
the CPA license as specified by the Nevada State Board of Accountancy; who are certified as a
Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA); or who have made progress toward such certifications.
Requires a valid State of Nevada driver's license.
Position Location: Las Vegas.

Salary
The salary is up to $108,096. The salary reflects Public Employees' Retirement System (PERS)
contributions by both the employee and the employer. An employer-paid contribution plan is also
available with a reduced salary.
Benefits
Benefits include paid medical, dental, vision care, life and disability insurance programs; eleven paid
holidays per year; three weeks of annual leave; three weeks of sick leave; state defined benefit
retirement plan; and a tax-sheltered deferred compensation plan is available. State employees do not
contribute to social security; however, a small Medicare deduction is required. Long-term employees
