  • Job Description

    The Job

    The Innovation and Technology Department is accepting applications for an IT Licensing & Compliance Analyst II* who willbe involved in the support of enterprise-level and non-enterprise-level information technology licensing, compliance, optimization, procurement, and budgeting. Duties may include gathering, analyzing, and documenting business rules and requirements; diagramming workflows; ensuring system and business requirements are met by monitoring available metrics and collecting feedback post-implementation; assisting with process improvement efforts to enhance business performance; assisting in evaluating new technologies that may enable business success; maintaining multi-year agreements for subscription services as well as software and hardware licensing; writing functional specifications and proposals; and preparing funding requests.

    CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

    Pre-Employment Process: Incumbents must pass a background investigation, which includes fingerprinting, work history & education check, as well as a job-related physical exam and drug screening.

    Minimum Requirements

    Candidates MUST meet the Experience and Education requirement to qualify.

    EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: Two (2) years full-time equivalent experience performing license management, asset management, and licensing of hardware/software contracts.
    EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Completed bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in information technology, business administration, accounting, finance, or closely related field.
