Human Resource Generalist to join our team.

Semi-Monthly Salary: $2,365.19
Annual Salary: $56,764.65
Job Location: This position will be located at the Broadway State Office Building; 221 West High Street, Jefferson City, MO.
Why you’ll love this position: This is a first-level professional human resources position responsible for working in the Department of Social Services Office for Civil Rights planning, conducting and completing investigations regarding allegations of unlawful discrimination, including identification of relevant issues and material witnesses.
What you’ll do: • Coordinate and complete civil rights investigations.
• Interview individuals over the phone and/or in-person.
• Review relevant documentation.
• Write detailed investigative reports.
• Answer DSS Office for Civil Rights Toll-free line.
All you need for success: • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong writing skills.
• Time management/organization skills.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Exceptional listening skills.
• Ability to work with others.
• Critical thinking and ability to evaluate statements, evidence.

Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience and knowledge of conducting investigations
- Knowledge of state and federal civil rights and EEO laws
Special Requirements: - Work overtime when needed
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to drive and travel throughout the state of Missouri when needed.
- Ability to communicate with other individuals up to 8 hours at a time.
- Work on a computer up to 8 hours at a time
