This position will be domiciled at Central Office, but physical office location will be determined by the successful candidate's residency.This position is responsible for the oversight and monitoring of correctional substance use services offered within the Missouri Department of Corrections facilities to ensure compliance with the contract, policy and procedures, and clinical standards. Position will report to the ITC Program Manager, Division of Offender Rehabilitative Services. Some travel is required.
Duties will include:
- Conducting sight visits and audits and preparing related reports.
- Maintaining awareness of current program and site-specific needs.
- Serving as a resource for programs, providing consultation, technical, and clinical assistance.
- Participating in treatment program planning as it relates to contracts and services.
- Working with site and regional staff to improve substance use services operations and encouraging areas of change when needed.
- Communicating with outside entities, site administration and other stakeholders as needed.
- Assisting with planning and policy development related to substance use services.
- Serving on departmental teams and committees as assigned.
- Functioning as a liaison between the substance use services contracted vendor and MODOC.
- Reviewing and providing technical assistance in the preparation of annual budget requests for designated programs
- Supervising assigned professional/clerical staff involved in support of program activities.
Minimum Qualifications: Five or more years of professional experience in substance use or behavioral health treatment.
Two or more years in a supervisory or coordination role.
Credentials of CADC, CCJP, CCDP, RADC or equivalent are required; Credentials of CRADC, LPC, LCSW, CRAADC, CCS or equivalent are preferred.
Correctional experience is preferred, but not required.

A $2.00 per hour shift differential if you are assigned to a shift that begins on or between 12:00pm (noon) and 5:00am and are employed at a 24/7 congregate care facility (i.e. institution, transition center, supervision center, or command center).
A $0.75 per hour maximum security stipend if you work full-time at a qualifying facility.
A $1.00 per hour restrictive housing stipend if you are assigned a regular post within a restrict housing/segregation unit at any facility.
The Department of Corrections currently offers a guaranteed 1% pay increase for every two years of continuous service up to 20 years!
