As an HR Intern with the City of Claremont, you’ll be part of a small but mighty team where you'll get exposure to all facets of public sector HR. We are open Monday-Thursday 7AM-6PM and can be flexible with the schedule, but the ideal candidate can dedicate a minimum of 20 hours a week.

Qualified applicants must have a general knowledge of the principles of local government and its operation, be able to work independently with limited direction, organize multiple assignments and competing priorities, prepare written correspondence and reports, and have strong oral and written communication and public relations skills. Applicants will have at least a sophomore standing in an accredited college and some related work experience. Knowledge of computers, Microsoft Suite and Windows are required. Qualified applicants must possess a valid Class C California driver’s license and have a good driving record.
