The maximum salary for this position is $3,942.
The final salary is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
About the Department/Position: Under the general supervision of the Academic Resource Manager (ARM) and in collaboration with Department Chairs, the incumbent serves as the Operations Support Coordinator for all activities and events that impact the assigned departments. The incumbent independently performs a wide variety of moderate to complex administrative tasks involving the use of judgment and discretion. Duties include the coordination of the day-to-day functions of the assigned departments, and providing clerical and administrative support to the departments.
Overview of Duties and Responsibilities: - Compose and prepare memos, letters, notices, and bulletins as requested
- Provide administrative support related to program reviews, accreditation, grant submission, and other projects
- Coordinate program/department-related meetings by scheduling, preparing agenda, and following-up on action items that arise from the meetings
- Assist in responding to student inquiries, requests for service, and complaints via phone, email or in person; follow-through on the resolution of problems
- Maintain calendar for Department Chairs
Minimum Qualifications: - A high school program, technical/vocational program, or their equivalents combined with several years of related office work experience, equivalent to three years.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Knowledge of correct English grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- Knowledge of proper customer service techniques
- Ability to provide confidential assistance related to student issues and records
- Ability to handle effectively a broad range of interpersonal contacts
- Skill in planning, organizing, coordinating and performing multiple work assignments
