IntroductionThe City of Scottsdale is seeking a Human Resources Analyst to perform responsible administrative work in multiple human resources disciplines including recruiting, employee relations, benefits, training and development, and other human resources functions. Our Human Resources Analysts also assist our Senior Human Resources Analysts in creating job postings, candidate offers and with other Human Resources programs.
Desired qualifications:
- Possess a certification from SHRM such as a SHRM S/CP and/or HRCI such as a S/PHR.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, teamwork and customer service skills with a willingness to go above and beyond for our clients.
- Ability to adapt to changes and remain flexible.
- Experience in a municipal environment.

Anticipated starting salary for this position may be up to the midpoint of the salary range depending on the candidate's experience and internal equity. Midpoint for this position is $81,577.60, the full salary range is listed above. The City of Scottsdale offers:

- Three years of work experience in an administrative capacity involving human resources work.
- An equivalent combination of education and job-related experience may substitute for the educational requirements on a year-for-year basis.
Licensing, Certifications and Other Requirements- Every person employed by the City of Scottsdale shall reside in the State of Arizona during his or her active employment by the City, regardless of whether the employee is approved to remote work.
