    The Division of Cannbis Regulation is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Division Director's Office in regulating the newest industry in Missouri. This is a high-level position within a dynamic team offering a unique opportunity to contribute to a growing program that is dedicated to providing safe access to cannabis for Missouri's qualifying patients and adult consumers.

    The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.

    • Provide administrative assistance and support to the Director and Director's Office members.
    • Serve as first contact for the Director's office by managing and prioritizing incoming calls, emails, and other correspondence.
    • Draft internal/external communications, and other official documents on the Director's behalf.
    • Manage and maintain the Director and Director's Office members' complex and active calendars, including scheduling and coordinating meetings, blocking time for focused work and resolving scheduling conflicts.
    • Schedule meetings, prepare detailed agendas, gather necessary materials, take meeting minutes and provide follow up.
    • Track, plan, and coordinate priorities and projects, ensuring deadlines are met.
    • Manage and/or purchase office supplies, secure and process travel arrangments, create and process expense reports, and process invoice orders.
    • Collaborate and coordinate with other division/department lead administrative support assistants and staff on cross divisional support needs.
    • Ensure familiarity and awareness of department and state policies and intiatives and apply department administrative policies to assigned work functions.
    • Maintain files and ensure confidentiality of sensitive and personal information.
    • Assist all Division units as needed for both regular activities and for special projects.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 4-6 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor’s degree and 0-2 years of relevant experience .
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration.
    • Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality.
    • Ability to adapt in an everchanging environment.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy .
    • Proficient with Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, and Adobe Acrobat DC.
