As the Montana Department of Justice Recruiter, you'll lead recruitment and selection processes across multiple divisions. You'll be the go-to advisor for hiring managers, offering strategic recruiting support, guidance on hiring best practices, and insight into talent acquisition trends.

What you'll do: - Lead full-cycle recruitment across the Department of Justice, ensuring compliance with department, state, federal, and union regulations.
- Collaborate with HR generalists, specialists and hiring managers to plan and execute effective hiring strategies.
- Draft, post, and manage vacancy announcements across various platforms while continuously seeking candidates for current/future DOJ opportunities.
- Advise managers on sourcing strategies, classification levels, labor market trends, and candidate pipeline development.
- Manage and maintain the State of Montana Recruitment System (SOMRS), including audits and requisition reviews.
- Represent the Department at job fairs and recruiting events across Montana and out-of-state opportunities.
- Contribute to onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Help administering the DOJ Safety Program.

- Salary: $30.00 - $35.00 Hourly
What you bring: - A bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational development, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of hands-on recruiting or human resources experience.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with an eye for detail and compliance.
- A proactive, relationship-driven approach to working with managers and job candidates.
- Experience with recruiting platforms or applicant tracking systems (SOMRS experience a plus).
