    Role

    Yavapai County Community Health Services is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse I to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting community health by providing nursing care, health education, and outreach services in a collaborative public health environment.

    The ideal candidate will have expertise working in a primary care clinic setting, demonstrating strong clinical skills and the ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care. Bilingual skills in Spanish are preferred to better serve our diverse community.

    Major Duties, Responsibilities

    • Provides nursing services including direct patient care, care management, and provider support.
    • Supports back-office operations by optimizing clinic workflow.
    • Completes medication refills and tasks, prior authorizations, and triages patient inquires.
    • Serves as a resource for other back-office staff in the areas of patient consultation and inquiry using nursing knowledge and expertise.
    • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.


    Minimum Qualifications

    Education:
    Registered Nurse from an accredited school.

    Experience:
    No nursing experience required.

    Additional Requirements:
    Must possess a valid Arizona driver’s license.
    Must be Licensed Registered Nurse from an accredited school.
    Must possess current Arizona Nursing license.
    Must possess current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Professionals.
    Must possess a current fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
