    We're looking for a Community Treatment Supervisor to join our team. A successful candidate has previous experience working with the developmentally disabled, a strong work ethic and an active interest in helping to care for our consumers. It is often said that there is no greater satisfaction than working directly with our consumers, and this is absolutely true. It's extremely rewarding since many of our consumers are living well.

    This full-time position will be domiciled at 112 Plaza Dr, Sikeston, MO, 63801. The regular work schedule will be Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with Saturday and Sunday off. Occasional coverage on other shifts may be necessary at times to meet the needs of SEMORS.

    This is professional supervisory position accountable for professional program planning and management. Develops, implements, coordinates, and evaluates individual habilitation treatment plans for consumer with developmental disabilities.

    • Supervises professional and/or direct care staff.
    • As part of a treatment team, observing behavior and participating in habilitation programs
    • Preparing reports and progress notes, assisting with annual staffing, and completing quarterly and monthly reviews


    • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 24 earned semester hours or 36 earned quarter hours in one or a combination of the following: Education, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Counseling, Recreation (including specialty areas such as Art, Dance, Music, or Physical Education), Dietetics, Criminal Justice, Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology, Occupational Therapy, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapy, Physical Therapy Assistant, Nursing, or other specialties in the field of human services; and,
    • Three - five years of experience working with persons with developmental disabilities.
    • (A combination of education from an accredited college or university and experience as a Registered Nurse may substitute for the stated college education.)
    • Applicants must be eligible for designation as a QDDP under Federal standards for an Intermediate Care Facility-Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF-IID).
