    Description

    The Town of Prescott Valley invites you to apply for the position of Facilities Division Manager.

    Join our team and help shape the spaces that keep our community running! The Facilities Division Manager oversees the planning, operation, maintenance, and improvement of Town-owned buildings and grounds to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant facilities. This role manages maintenance programs, capital projects, budgets, and contracts while leading staff and coordinating with departments to support uninterrupted public services and long-term asset management.

    Examples of Duties

    IN THIS POSITION, YOU WILL:
    • Oversee building maintenance, contracted services and asset renewal project management functions.
    • Communicate with other departments to assist in their budget or capital improvement plan preparation.
    • Play a key role in planning, coordinating, and administering the Town's facility asset/equipment replacement program.
    • Develop and manage professional service contracts as required to meet Town Council, Town, and Facilities Maintenance goals. Direct contracted consultants, contractors, and vendors.
    • Provide technical assistance on all major capital improvement projects (new Town buildings) including participation in pre-construction meetings, design reviews, drawing reviews, construction meetings as needed, and post-construction activities.
    • Assist employees with complex trades activities and/or maintenance jobs.
    • Respond to call outs after hours and on weekends to support 24/7 operations. Work special events.
    • Manage programs related to facilities operations maintenance, building automation and control systems, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, exterior maintenance, custodial, and energy management.

    Typical Qualification

    REQUIREMENTS:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering or related field of study with four (4) years of professional management experience in Facilities Management OR a minimum six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the facilities management industry. Three (3) years of supervisory experience required.
    • The successful candidate must pass a pre-employment background screening to include driving record.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    • International Facilities Management Certification (IFMA)
    • APWA Facilities Management Certification
    • HVAC Certification or equivalent experience with EPA Certification.

    COMPENSATION:

    The Town's complete compensation package includes salary, benefits, and a high-performance culture. The Town package includes a health, dental, and vision insurance plan, participation in the state retirement system, optional 457 deferred compensation with a town match up to 6%, vacation, holidays, and additional comprehensive benefits.
    • The expected hiring salary is $81,411-$89,460.
    • The full salary range is $81,411-$113,984.
