Current vacancy is with Resource Management Agency (RMA) located at Visalia Road Yard. Typical Duties Duties - Perform concrete work such as setting forms, laying, finishing, and repairing concrete; construct curb, gutter, and sidewalk, manholes, wingwalls and ADA ramps
- Repair damaged culverts, bridges and wingwalls
- Operate light trucks in pickup and delivery of equipment
- Work with the Road crew to perform road related maintenance work
- Act as traffic flagman

Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Minimum qualifications are used as a guide for establishing the education, training, experience, special skills and/or license which are required and equivalent to the following.
Education: - Equivalent to completion of the twelfth (12 th ) grade.
Knowledge of: - Proper use of concrete hand and power tools
- Basic math sufficient to keep time, operating and servicing records
- ADA accessibility requirements for concrete work
- Operating characteristics of gasoline and diesel-powered equipment.
- .Operating procedures, materials and safety measures encountered in concrete, road building and maintenance.
- Equipment service requirements.
Skill/Ability to: - Work and communicate effectively with people of various education and socioeconomic backgrounds by respecting beliefs, interpersonal styles and behaviors of both clients and co-workers.
- Operate contemporary office equipment inclusive of computer, keyboard, and all applicable electronic equipment.
- Operate one or more pieces of construction equipment.
- Carry out oral and written job assignments.
- Read and understand operator and service manuals.
- Set grades, forms, lay, finish and repair concrete
- Inspect, service and make minor adjustments on equipment.
- Work cooperatively with other operators and maintenance personnel.
- Service equipment and keeping service records.
License or Certificate: - Attain a “Class “A” driver’s license with no restrictions and a tanker endorsement two (2) weeks prior to the expiration of the one- year probationary period. Attainment of the Class A license is a condition of employment.

Additionally, a background investigation may also be conducted, which may include a re-investigation every 10 years for some positions. Vacation Accrual: 2 weeks per year (0-3 years of service)

Limit of 300 hours.
Sick Leave Accrual: 12 days per year with unlimited accumulation, 60 hours of which may be used toward family sick leave.
