    This position is with the Office of Administration Division of General Services supporting the Missouri State Agency for Surplus Property (MOSASP). The MOSASP maximizes resources through the reuse, transfer, or auction of excess federal and state property.

    The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.

    • Provide a warm and professional welcome to customers and assisting them with their needs promptly and courteously.
    • Manage incoming and outgoing communication by distributing mail, email, and other correspondence. Redirect phone calls to the appropriate team members efficiently and professionally.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account records by monitoring activity and ensuring compliance with current policies.
    • Gather, review, and analyze date to create reports. Ensure reports are accurate, balanced, and aligned with organizational requirements before submission.
    • Provide prompt and professional support to customers through phone and email communication.
    • Assist team members with administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth and efficient team operations.
    • Monitor and verify that customers met program compliance requirements by accurately documenting and maintaining records in accordance with established policies and procedures.
    • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support the team and meet organizational goals.


    • Ability to communicate, collaborate, and operate with integrity in a manner that inspires trust and builds positive rapport with a diverse group of stakeholders and the public.
    • Good verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
    • Excellent time management, organizational, and planning capabilities.
    • Ability to prioritize and execute work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Computer software knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Six or more months of experience in office support work; and possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
    • Excellent attendance, work ethic, attention to detail, and critical thinking skills.
