    Associate Customer Service Representative

    Processing Bureau Applications/Payments

    Department of Revenue

    HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION:

    Our team focuses on processing incoming business registration applications and documents in a timely manner. We are team oriented, goal driven and value strong communication and typing skills, as well as a problem-solving experience. You will gain satisfaction from assisting customers with business registration and making payments, including individual income tax payments.

    DUTIES PERFORMED TO SUPPORT THE DEPARTMENT’S VISION:

    • Review applications to create Missouri Tax Identification numbers
    • Complete data entry tasks to input taxpayer information
    • Research and correct business tax returns to ensure accuracy
    • Correspond with both internal and external customers about tax processing
    • Assist customers with filing registration applications and documents via e-mail correspondence

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Possess a high school diploma or high school equivalency certificate
    • Six or more months of experience in clerical or general office support work
