Performs supervisory, skilled, and limited administrative work involving the maintenance of grounds, athletic fields, and landscaped areas, planting and maintenance of flower beds and plants, and/or general maintenance of community recreation facilities. Supervises the field activities of several crews. Work is usually performed under general supervision and reviewed while in progress and upon completion through direct observation, meetings, and review of work orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma/G.E.D. Certificate and four (4) years of landscape maintenance, general facility, or grounds maintenance experience
required, two (2) years of which
must have been in a lead or supervisory capacity; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Valid Florida Driver's License
required.

If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:
- Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
- Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
- Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
- Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
