    HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES AGENCY, BEHAVIORAL HEALTH DIVISION
    The Health and Human Services Agency’s Behavioral Health Division is committed to the physical and mental health of the residents of El Dorado County. They provide a wide variety of services to the community, including mental health 24-hour crisis services, adult and children’s services, Substance Use Disorder Services, Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) programs, mental health first aid training, and much more!

    THE OPPORTUNITY
    Supervise office support staff and activities in either a single specified or multiple related office support areas; provide difficult, technical or specialized office support to various County offices.

    The selected candidate will have the opportunity to:
    • Supervise and direct office support staff and activities, either directly or through subordinate lead staff.
    • Plan, schedule and assign office support work such as drafting correspondence, typing, work processing, reception, filing, recordkeeping, report preparation, fiscal recordkeeping and similar clerical processing activities.
    • Participate in the hiring of assigned staff, recommending selection for management approval.
    • Train assigned staff in general office and County procedures and specific departmental and unit policies and procedures.
    • Evaluate employee performance, counsel employees, and effectively recommend initial disciplinary action and other personnel decisions.

    Three years of office support or secretarial experience.

    The County of El Dorado is recruiting applicants for the Office Services Supervisor. This recruitment will establish a list for the purpose of filling current and future full time vacancies for at least three (3) months.
