(The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. Years of service adjustments, shift differentials, and other targeted salary payments are applied to the total compensation of your paycheck and are subject to eligibility requirements of the appropriate differential .)
This position will be located at Bellefontaine Habilitation Center, 10695 Bellefontaine Rd., Saint Louis, MO 63137. Working hours are 2:15 pm to 10:45 pm with either Tuesday/Wednesday or Wednesday/Thursday as off days as discussed upon offering position. Some flexibility may be necessary to adjust schedules to fit the needs of the facility. This is senior-level direct care working with persons with developmental disabilities (DD), and managing/supervising multiple homes across our campus.
Y ou will be working with staff who enjoy caring for others and want to make a difference in the lives of those impacted by a mental illness or developmental disability. You can make a difference in the lives of our consumers so they too have the opportunity to pursue their dreams, live their lives to the fullest, and be a valued member of their community.
Manage and supervise Support Care Assistants and Senior Support Care Assistants, making frequent rounds to inspect and evaluate work. Review and instruct personnel in the total care treatment of our consumers. Observe & record changes in our consumers, investigate complaints, & report to treatment team. Prepare work assignments, keep attendance records, and maintain discipline.
1. Minimum of 2 years of direct care experience with residents who are primarily diagnosed with DD.
2. Certified to pass and administer medications.
3. Supervisory experience is preferred.
