The Town of Truckee is seeking hard working individuals for a temporary seasonal readiness position with our Public Works Department. The ideal candidate will be able to work when called upon, weekends and holidays under sometimes adverse conditions, must be responsible, and able to work in a skilled and independent manner without close supervision. Some of the duties of this position include snow removal, painting, and general facilities/trails maintenance. This position is a Facilities I entry level position with no previous facilities maintenance experience required. Street Maintenance Worker / Equipment Operator II The Town of Truckee is currently accepting applications for a full-time Street Maintenance Worker II. Reserve Police Officer - The Town of Truckee Police Department is seeking a part-time Reserve Police Officer. The Town currently employs only Level I reserves on a part-time basis. Reserve officers can serve in many capacities to support the mission of the department including uniformed patrol, investigations, special event security along with bike and boat patrol.
